January 12, 2025 – Parish Christmas Pageant (Yolka) / Приходская Ёлка
Наша приходская семья собралась 12 января 2025 года на чудесную Рождественскую Ёлку. Праздник начался с традиционного пения тропаря Рождества Христова и приветствия отца Григория. Дети порадовали всех своими многочисленными и разнообразными выступлениями: пением колядок, танцами, хороводами, чтением стихов и игрой на инструментах. День завершился прибытием Деда Мороза и Снегурочки c раздачей подарков. Мы выражаем сердечную благодарность организаторам — Елизавете Прокопенко и Мелании Рефф, нашим талантливым преподавателям танцев — доктору Елене Страпко и Наталье Лисиной. Также благодарим Наталью Лисину и Наталью Круглову за шитье новых сарафанов для матрешек и всех родителей, которые помогали в подготовке спектакля. Спасибо сестричеству и тем родителям, которые предоставили праздничное угощение. Это празднование поистине воплотило радость и теплоту нашей приходской общины в эти благословенные Рождественские дни.

Our parish family came together on January 12th, 2025, for a wonderful Nativity Yolka. The festivities began with the traditional singing of the Nativity Troparion and a welcome from Fr. Gregory. The children delighted everyone with their many and varied performances, which included the singing of carols and rounds, dances, poetry recitation, and instrumental performances. The afternoon concluded with the arrival of Father Frost (Ded Moroz) and the Snow Maiden (Snegurochka) and the distribution of gifts.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers — Elizabeth Prokopienko and Melanie Reff, our talented dance instructors — Dr. Helen Strapko and Natalia Lisina; to Natalia Lisina and Natalia Kruglova for sewing the new matryoshka (nesting doll) dresses for the girls, and all the parents who helped with preparations. We are also grateful to the sisterhood and parents who provided the festive refreshments. This celebration truly embodied the joy and warmth of our parish community during this blessed Nativity season.
