Welcome to a virtual tour of the iconography at the Protection of the Mother of God Church, a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad in Rochester, New York. During 2007-2019, church frescoes were executed in the best iconographic tradition developed by the Archimandrite Kiprian (Pijoff). Arch. Kiprian was a distinguished ROCOR master iconographer, the founder of the Jordanville school of the canonical Russian Orthodox iconography, who revived and approved strictly Orthodox iconographic tradition in the Russian Diaspora.
