Annual parish picnic

On June 16th, notable for being both the Sunday of the Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council AND the secular holiday of Father’s Day, we held our parish picnic on the side lawn of the church. Thanks to the efforts of the main coordinators, Deacon Nathan Reff and Elena Vinogradova, and all the other volunteers who supplied their time, equipment, and brought food and drinks, the event was a success. Especially popular with the younger crowd was the large “bouncy castle” and refreshing “slip and slide“. The weather was perfect, the food was excellent, beautiful music was provided by Eugene Boldewskul on the accordion, and a delightful afternoon was had by all the members of our church parish family.

В воскресение 16 июня, в день памяти святых Отцов Первого Вселенского Собора, который в этом году совпал со светским праздником “День Отца”, на лужайке у нашего прекрасного храма мы провели наш приходской пикник. Благодаря усилиям главных координаторов, дьякона Нафана Реффа и Елены Виноградовой, а также их многочисленных добровольцев, пожертвовавших свое время, оборудование, еду и напитки, мероприятие прошло очень успешно. Особой популярностью у молодежи пользовался большой “надувной замок” и освежающая “водная горка”. Погода стояла прекрасная, еда была превосходной, Женя Болдевскул порадовал всех своей игрой на аккордеоне, и все приятно провели время со своей дружной приходской семьёй.
